Coater with Tandem Dryers
This configuration enables double-sided coating at the speed of up to 50m/min.
Coater with Single Path DryersSingle path dryer consists of three types of heating zones: (1) Preheating, (2) Constant-Rate Drying, (3) Decreased-Rate Drying Zones Different technique is employed in each zone.
Airfoil provides gentle heating to avoid poor adhesion and cracking.
(2) Constant-Rate Drying:
This is where a majority of solvent is evaporated at a constant rate. More heat is applied in this zone.
(3) Decreased-Rate Drying:
To remove residual solvent at a decreased rate, floating nozzles are used to heat the web from top and bottom.
